The staff at the MTS Iceplex have been working hard to make the upcoming Renegades Spring Hockey Program even better than last. We’ve reviewed and analyzed the information from the surveys last spring to improve upon the Renegade program experience. We appreciate the feedback, it has allowed us to build the finest program for the kids. We are certain the program will provide an opportunity for kids to grow as hockey players and as people. The responsibility of the Renegades program is to maximize the players hockey development. This is accomplished through quality repetition, repeating fundamental skills, using correct technique, until skills are fully learned. It is very important for kids to give it there best effort every session on and off the ice, as it will give them the best opportunity to develop their skills. Our responsibility as an organization is to ensure we provide a valuable program to your son or daughter. We respect the financial and time commitment it takes from parents in order to participate in our program. We look forward to seeing everyone again for the 2012 Renegades program. We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the hockey season so far. Best of luck in the rest of the season.
NB *We will be holding spots for all of last years Renegade players until December 15th/2011, please register before this date. After December 15th we will be opening up spots for new Renegade hockey players to join our spring hockey program. Attached is the 2012 Renegades registration form.
Our Spring Hockey Program
Our program develops the transition skating, and puck possession skills that each player must possess in order to be successful in today’s game. We combine individual skill, power skating, agility, quickness and strength training along with exhibition games, intra-squad and tournament competition to ensure all players have the opportunity to put their practice into game situations. Not only are players learning the individual skills to succeed, but also learning advanced team tactics which will help them excel in game situations.
