THC Winnipeg

- Brandon loves training with you guys and he has made great strides under your wings. We as parents also believe in your program and welcome it as a breath of freash air.

- We have noticed a great improvement in Aaron’s development this summer.  It is not only Aaron’s hard work, but the amazing coaches you have working with him to develop him into the more confident player we are starting to see.  Aaron always looks forward to coming to the THC programs. You offer something that we haven’t seen at some camps. Your coaches are always prepared, keep the activities moving , exude  positivity and above else  they have fun!    Please ensure that your staff knows of the fantastic job they are doing, not just for our son, but for all the kids enrolled in the program.

- We Just wanted to let you know that this Minneapolis hockey tournament was the most fun hockey tournament we 've been too. It was well organized and everyone got along so well. All the boys had fun and all the parents enjoyed each others company as well. Thank you all so much for a great weekend! 

- Thanks to all of you for organizing a great weekend for all of us and the boys. Jack had a fabulous time and when asked, his favorite part was the HOCKEY! Thanks to all of you for making the weekend so enjoyable.

- Thanks for organizing the tournament for the kids. I'm sure there was a lot of behind teh scenes work, with trying to house all of the teams under one roof etc. Anyways, it turned out great. Reid really enjoyed the hockey part, and of course the extra bonus of having the waterslides, the rides and his buddies to hang out with made it extra fun.

- Coaches work well with kids, putting the child’s development first, ahead of any other child/parental expectation. The coaches and staff were great!  They were wonderful with the kids. The coaches abilities to communicate during the on ice drills was very valuable and not something that is easily done in shorter practice sessions. Two goalies per coach is great, super attention paid to a very important position. The focus on fundamental skill development, good ratios of instructor to child and great attitude of the instructors. Also using Junior players, etc allows the kids to see where they can go (especially when they demo at 100%!! Overall, trainers were excellent-staff is 2nd to none.  The variation in activities was outstanding, the kids were never bored. Expertise and enthusiasm of  Instructors was great

- The coaches were fantastic with the kids.  The best we’ve seen. 

- It was great for the kids to meet new friends and strengthen friendships they already had through a sport they all love.

- All tournament information was timely and very thorough which even included the google maps.  The organization and communication of information we felt was superb. Providing all players a more or less ‘equal participation’ opportunity

- Great Instructors, good rapport with the kids.

- Great coaches; enthusiastic, helpful, supportive, engaging, approachable, informative

-  Keep the same coaching staff, excellent coaches, high energy, related well to our children.  Made learning fun!

- Coaches were approachable and listened to parents’ concerns

- Quality staff – worked well with players.  Enthusiastic and had a good relationship with players

- Great job! The coaches attitude, tough, fair and fun

- The Renegades Program was excellent this year.  Coaches were young so the kids tended to look up to them.  They provided great leadership and set the right tone on the bench, good Job.

- The frequency and timing of the practices/dryland/THC was good. The approach of the Ice drills combined with the dryland training. THC. It is something that is unique to a program in Winnipeg and I believe is a difference maker. Overall emphasis on skill development on and off ice. The emphasis on skills versus games was significant and valuable for all participants. THC-Great Technical Training centre if used appropriately

-The multi faceted program was the KEY attraction: on ice, THC, and focus fitness.  The away tournament was a huge plus! The philosophy of developing children through repetitive drills is great. 

- A great environment for kids to learn, have fun and make good friendships.

- I enjoyed the program length, structure and cost. Very little room for improvement.

- Focus on developmental is key, participants are not selected based on ability.

- Fantastic facility on all levels, from dryland, THC, to ice and dressing facilities-world-class!

- Love the philosophy of individual player development

- Good mix of on ice and off ice training – good teamwork networking in a short period of time

-  The emphasis on skills development and then having the long practices really gave the boys the opportunity to develop.

- The off-ice training was a lot of fun for the boys and started to develop good exercise habits.

- I think the philosophy and structure of the Renegde program is great

- Concentrated schedule worked well , especially for those of us that live fairly far away

- On-ice situational play was helpful & position development beneficial    

- 'Team’ aspect  makes it unique and different which is great

- Having access to all components of the program under one roof was very convenient.

- The Focus Fitness and THC portions of the program were excellent skill development that the kids do not get in their regular winter season hockey.

- The balanced emphasis between promoting personal and technical development.

- On ice sessions aimed at development; excellent emphasis on development of all players

-  Dryland with ice sessions emphasized athleticism and not that on ice is the only way to strengthen one’s hockey abilities.

- The program was great. Sean has been involved with spring teams in past years but they were a distant second to this program for development. He's made some great friends and had a great time.

- The 2002 instructors/coaches were great, the kids respected them and listened to their instruction.

- Great job again to everyone at THC!!!  The kids can’t wait til next year’s camp! 

- Dean, Jeff, Nathan, and all the staff that helped out either on the ice, in focus fitness, or in THC.  I wish to commend you on a job well done and thank-you all for your efforts and will see you all again soon.  I would definitely recommend this program and have been doing so to others that want to help their child improve in a game, that through the eyes of the child, is FUN.

 - Our appreciation to all staff & organizers!  Our experience with the renegades program was one of high satisfaction as parents and for our son, Aidan.  Great job!!

- Samuel enjoyed and learned a lot in the first year of the program which is why we also signed up his younger brother this year. We will continued to highly recommend the program to teammates and friends of our boys. 

-  Josh has had a blast and I have noticed a marked improvement in his skills.

-  I wish to thank you so much for your work with Jalen!  He has really benefitted and enjoyed the Renegade Hockey program.  He has made some really great friends and we were happy to get to know a lot of their parents over the past few weeks.  When ever you ask Jalen, “how was hockey”, his answer is always, “Fun!”  That in itself makes this a huge success for us.
